Up Network just announced a strategic partnership with Movement Labs, and unveiled Up Mobile, a smartphone dedicated to Web3.
This partnership hopes to revolutionize the Web3 consumer experience by improving privacy, scalability, and ease of use.
Up Mobile will use biometric sensors and zero-knowledge proofs to verify blockchain identity. The dedicated Web3 OS supports MoveVM and EVM, providing a broad platform for decentralized applications (DePIN, DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi). Built-in large native language models help users earn rewards through Proof of Attention activities.
Smartphone distribution
The smartphone has already crossed 10,000 pre-orders, with the goal of distributing 100,000 units by the end of this year. The partnership includes 50 partners, including prominent Web3 IPs, who are offering rewards to users for participating.
“Having tried Up Mobile myself, I can confidently say that it not only outperforms anything in the Web3 space, but also rivals, if not exceeds, the quality of well-known mainstream brands,” said Ruchi Manshi, co-founder of Movement Labs.
The Movement Lab mobile network offers significant benefits as an attention node, and hopes to efficiently accommodate the next billion users. These benefits arise from the network’s high throughput (over 30,000 transactions per second) and local fee markets, which enable cost-effective operations and reduce network congestion.
