The maneuvers took place after the completion of a full training program and a series of experiments, which are part of the development and equipment program, led by the Marine Corps to test a new prototype of the Medium Range Interdiction Capability (MRIC).

The successful maneuvers demonstrated the forces’ prowess in the full operation of the system, the performance of the Marine-developed mobile rocket launcher and the performance of the Iron Dome interceptor system, in relevant and challenging interception scenarios.
