US stocks opened with gains in major indexes.
Meta Platforms also outperformed and provided positive guidance. Shares are trading up over 9% at the open.

- The S&P 500 rose 23.16 points, or 0.42%, to 5,545.00.
- The Nasdaq rose about 71 points, or 0.40%, to reach 17,674.
The small-cap Russell 2000 Index is trading almost unchanged at 2,254.42.
After the close, Apple and Amazon reported earnings, while Intel, Coinbase, DraftKings, Roku, and Block also reported earnings.
