VW announces huge collaboration with Mobileye

Volkswagen Group today has announced a major cooperation agreement with the Israeli advanced leadership assistance company (ADAS) Mobileye Global Inc (NASDAQ: MBLE) to install AdAS systems in future models, which will be based on the MQB MDULAR MDULAR.

The system will not allow the complete autonomous driving without the driver's involvement, but it will allow the driving free of hands in the situations specified on the approved highways. Besides, there will be standard features such as helping traffic congestion, road discovery, augmented reality screen and more.

The new system also includes a 360 -degree protection ring consisting of many cameras and radars, as well as software -based capabilities, smart parking, passenger safety and improved pedestrians.

The contract won by Mobileye in cooperation with the first level international resource Valeo. The platform referred to by Volkswagen is used by the group's famous vehicle models including Skoda, SEAT, CUPRA, Volkswagen and some Audi models, which represent millions of units annually all over the world.

Valeo provides high -performance control units (ECUS), sensors and parking solutions, while Mobileye contributes to the surrounding AdAS platform including processor and high -appointment technologies in Eyeq 6.

“The cooperation, which will be launched in the coming years, will improve safety and driving comfort in the comprehensive vehicles produced, while addressing customer expectations and organizational requirements. This cooperation supports us on the path to change: by purchasing our devices and programs, simplifying the evaluation processes,” said Volkswagen.

Volkswagen Group is already in cooperation with Mobileye in implementing and improving the most advanced SUPER VISIONE Self -Self -System Self -System.
