Yoni Nahmad (24 years old), a member of a Jewish billionaire family residing in Monaco, bought an apartment for NIS 51 million in the luxury Rothschild 10 project in Tel Aviv. The family has an extensive real estate portfolio which Nahmad has been managing in recent years in addition to expanding into high-tech business ventures.

Nahmad bought the apartment, which has an area of 330 square metres, covers half of the 37th floor, and includes a balcony of 25 square metres. The Rothschild 10 project, served by Six Senses Group, will contain a luxury tower featuring residential apartments, a hotel and commercial space. The 41-storey tower is located between Rothschild Street, Herzl Street and Lilienblum Street – the city’s hottest real estate. Construction has already begun, and the project is currently being marketed.

In addition to his recent purchase in Israel, Yoni also owns a 900 square meter apartment in the prestigious One Hyde Park in London. He bought the property in 2019 and it is currently worth £60 million (US$80 million). Nahmad grew up in London where he was educated in Jewish schools. He travels between London and the family home in Monaco, visits Israel three to four times a year to see his partner, Israeli model Eden Bolani, as well as family, and plans to increase his business activities in the country.

Nahmad is part of the new generation of a Jewish billionaire family from Monaco. His father, Ezra Nahmad, and uncle, David, have made their fortunes over the past six decades by trading in some of the world’s most valuable art pieces. According to Forbes, the brothers are ranked as the second and third richest individuals in Monaco. Yoni is Ezra’s youngest son, and he has two older brothers, Hillel (46 years old) and Youssef (35 years old).

The Nahmad family hails from Aleppo, Syria, and moved to Lebanon where Ezra and David were born. Shortly thereafter, the family fled Lebanon and moved to Europe. First, they settled in Italy and began building their artistic empire. Eventually, they moved to Monaco, where they established permanent roots and began their extraordinary success story.

David and Ezra Nahmad lived a private life away from the media spotlight, despite six decades of tremendous success in amassing the world’s most comprehensive art collection, valued at $7 to $8 billion. The collection, housed in a heavily guarded warehouse near Geneva Airport in Switzerland, includes works by more than 30 famous artists, such as French artists Claude Monet, Henri Matisse, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and American artist Mark Rothko. The collection also includes more than 300 pieces by Picasso, the famous Spanish painter and sculptor, one of the giants of 20th century modern art.

Over the past 30 years, the family has built a property portfolio that includes 22 properties in London, five in Monaco, and 15 in the United States. Yoni Nahmad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from the University of Westminster in London, and has managed the family portfolio for the past three years, while over the past year he has expanded the portfolio into the technology sector.

Building on the family’s reputation for hosting lavish events, David’s son Joe’s extravagant wedding with American model Madison Hedrick took place in May 2023 on Costa Smeralda, Sardinia. The wedding reportedly cost $12.9 million and was attended by high-profile guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Serena Williams, and many other celebrities.

Yoni Nahmad, the youngest heir to the famous Nahmad family, has been in a relationship with international Israeli model Eden Polani for more than a year. Polani, 20, was previously rumored to be in a relationship with famous Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, sparking significant media interest.
