Everyone has their own unique sense of style, but if you wear Bitcoin merchandise like the t-shirt in post

I agree with this post as this shirt is extremely embarrassing and will only attract unwanted attention.

Most people don’t understand Bitcoin and the language around it. If you wear this in public, the majority of people won’t understand and will go on with their day, completely forgetting about it. So, if you’re wearing a shirt, you’re not flexing as much as you think.

But whoever sees you wearing it will know its meaning, and this could lead to serious consequences.

Wearing a t-shirt that tells everyone you own an entire bitcoin (or basically $100,000, at the time of writing, in bearer asset form) will likely put a target on your back.

Don’t believe me?

Last November, he was CEO of Canadian company WonderFi to kidnap And hold them for ransom. More recently, there was a Pakistani cryptocurrency trader to kidnap He was forced to pay $340,000 to the kidnappers from his Binance account.

I’m not trying to scare anyone, but these things can happen, and you should at least avoid putting yourself in that situation.

These criminals may or may not know how Bitcoin works, and it may be worse if they don’t. Because they might think that you have everything on one exchange, or that you have your private keys in one easy-to-obtain place, they think you’re probably an easy target. And if you tell them you can’t actually give away your coins, and they don’t believe you, things can go wrong quickly.

I’m not saying to never talk to anyone about Bitcoin or to be 100% secretive about it – I mean I’m a public figure in this space and have thought about how best to limit the chances of something bad like this happening to me. The security of your Bitcoin is important, but it is also your personal security. Fortunately for me, I am an American and have 2nd Amendment rights. Protecting my Bitcoin from a potential $5 attack is much easier with a firearm.

If you are the proud owner of one full Bitcoin, it’s okay to celebrate, because this is an achievement that most people on this planet will never be able to achieve.

But my advice to you is to celebrate it in a more private way, so that no one is there except your family and close friends who you trust. You can post online on X or Reddit anonymously if you really want to have a deeper conversation about it or get dopamine from all the other people congratulating you on your accomplishment.

Don’t tell people how much Bitcoin you have, and definitely don’t wear shirts that reveal it. Just stay humble and stack more Bitcoin.
