Kela Technologies came out of Stealth Defense Technology and announced that it had raised $ 39 million in two rounds. The company was established by Hamutal Meridor, until recently a partner in the Vintage Investment Capital Company, and before that manager of Palantir activity in Israel; Alon Darr, who is the CEO and was the winner of the Defense Award in Israel during his service in Maafat – the Ministry of Defense Directorate in Defense Research and Development; Aviation engineer, Jason Man, who served in the unit of technological intelligence in the Israeli Defense Army 81; And Omer Bar-Ilan, the former head of the algorithm development at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Kele currently hires 25 people in its offices in Tel Aviv.
According to its announcement, the Kela platform provides “rapid integration of commercial technologies, such as advanced artificial intelligence models, sensors, and Edge devices, to existing military systems, providing immediate solutions to operational challenges in the battlefield.”
The company is currently working with the Israel Defense Corporation and is expected to implement its operating platform, but no details have been revealed.
“The events of October 7 have emphasized the need for new thinking and advanced solutions in the battlefield,” Darr said. “Early in the summer of 2023, we realized the opportunity to convert the Israeli model” Repeating under Fire “into a basic principle of Western defense.”
