Simon Swan, co -founder of the Manchester Flatform Platform, announced that he will leave the company after 14 years.
Swan launched the company in 2011 to link companies with specialized employment agencies, which helped them find first -class talents in the fast -sized jobs market.
Speaking to LinkedIn, Swan described his departure as “sexy” and “Trepidatious”, adding: “It was an epic adventure, and the profession taught me a lot. But I am ready to explore again, and learn new things and write a new chapter.” He cited the slogan of Hernan Cortez, “Burning Boats “, to confirm his decision to leave without a tangible plan.
Swan stepped down as an executive president in 2023 when Hub Hub attracted an investment in millions of pound from the European Special stock fund Monacosol. Mark Rothuel has since been controlled. Thinking about the departure of Swan, Rothuel, the outgoing founder, thanked “for everything I did in 14 years in Hub Hub”, focusing on the fact that the original SWAN idea has grown to become a “successful company” to employ boutique.
Although Swan does not play an immediate role, it plans to spend time – it is possible that he will ride bikes – and know the new opportunities awaiting them. “For years, I have had a clear way forward and there is no map of mobility in a path,” he said. “In Hernan Cortez’s words, sometimes you have to” burn boats “to ensure that you continue to move forward.”
Hub Hub, now under the leadership of Rothuel and Monacosol, will continue to develop to support small and specialized employment companies. Swan added: “I can stay away from the confident that work is in safe hands … Here is the future, whatever it might bring.”
