Investing.com – German stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in sector and sector led shares higher while losses in sector and sector led stocks lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the index fell by 0.05%, while the index lost 0.28%, and the index rose 0.01%.
It was the best performance of the session on Commerzbank AG ON (ETR:), which rose 1.50%, or 0.15 points, and stood at 9.91 at the close. while, Hanover Roeck SE (ETR:) added 1.41%, or 2.65 points, to close at 189.95, and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR::) was up 1.28%, or 1.38 points, at 108.92 at the close of trading.
As for the worst performer at the end of the day’s trading, Merck KGaA (ETR:) closed down by 2.51%, or 4.15 points, and traded at 161.35 levels at the close. Munich Reinsurance (ETR:) declined by 2.31%, or 7.80 points, to close at 330.30 and Dr. Ing hc F Porsche AG is preferred (ETR:) fell 1.52%, or 1.75 points, to 113.70.
The best performance was on MDAX thalanx AG NA ON (ETR:) which rose 5.02% to 45.62, TeamViewer AG (ETR 🙂 which rose 3.01% to settle at 15.22 and Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (ETR 🙂 which rose 2.86% closing at 7.98.
The worst performer was Rational AG (ETR:), which fell by 8.52% to 644.00 in late trade. Evotec AG ON (ETR:): which lost 3.97% to settle at 16.32 f Scout24 AG (ETR:) which fell 3.46% to 57.44 at the close.
The best performers on TecDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR 🙂 which rose 3.01% to 15.22, Jenoptik AG (ETR 🙂 which rose 2.36% to settle at 29.52 and mite SA (ETR:): which rose by 1.68%, closing at 16.38.
The worst performers were Evotec AG ON (ETR:) which fell 3.97% to 16.32 in late trade, Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which lost 2.73% to settle at 33.82 and Siltronic AG (ETR:) which fell 2.64% to 62.65 at the close.
Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 352 against 314 and 83 unchanged.
Shares in Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR:) rose to a 5-year high; It rose 1.28%, or 1.38, to 108.92.
The DAX Index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, rose 0.32% to 18.57.
Gold futures for June delivery rose 0.47%, or 9.55%, to $2,034.35 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for June delivery rose 2.44%, or $1.74 a barrel, while Brent crude for July rose 2.15%, or $1.62, to trade at $76.92 a barrel.
EUR/USD remained unchanged by 0.09% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP was unchanged by 0.10% to 0.87.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.03% to 100.97.
