Israeli startups raised $5.2 billion in the first seven months of 2024 as the tech sector continues its upward trend and recovery in recent months.


Israeli startups raised more than $700 million in July 2024, according to press releases seen by Globes. The number could be higher as some companies prefer to remain secretive and sometimes don’t announce the investments they’ve received.

Israeli startups have now raised $5.2 billion in the first seven months of 2024, continuing the upward trend and recovery in the tech sector in recent months. Privately held Israeli tech companies raised $4.5 billion in the first half of 2024, according to IVC-LeumiTech, marking a recovery from 2023 when $6.9 billion was raised in the full year, after raising $15 billion in 2022 and raising a record $25.6 billion in 2021.







In July 2024, heart pump company Magenta Medical led a major funding round, raising $105 million. Enterprise software company Ctera Networks raised $80 million, AI disease modeling company CytoReason raised $80 million, cybersecurity company Dazz raised $50 million, AI healthcare company K Health raised $50 million, and blood diagnostics company Scopio Labs raised $42 million.
