MEDIA ADVISORY: Public healthcare advocates to protest at Minister of Health Sylvia Jones’ office

Toronto, February 07, 2025 (Globe New Winds) – on Saturday, February 8Y At 12 noon, Bruce Bruce, Prampton Calidon, the Great Health Coalition, the local classes of the Ontario Health Coalition will bring together, outside the Silvia Jones Health Department office, and the opposition of its public health registry.

“Our goal of protest is to make health care a major issue in the elections. We want to say why we and the audience are very concerned about the future of individual level health care,” said Nora Betty, a retired teacher who lives near Meaford and co -founder of the Gray Bruce Health coalition.

“Some regime failures affect us all everywhere,” she said, but some – the closing of the emergency department, for example – fall significantly on people who live in rural and northern areas. “
