Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.60%.

The best performers of the session on the were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.92% or 8.40 points to trade at 93.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:) added 9.87% or 4.85 points to end at 54.00 and Middle East Pharmaceutical (TADAWUL:) was up 7.56% or 13.60 points to 193.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.31% or 0.94 points to trade at 13.96 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 4.27% or 1.20 points to end at 26.90 and Hail Cement Company (TADAWUL:) was down 4.12% or 0.50 points to 11.64.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 115 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; rising 9.87% or 4.85 to 54.00. Shares in Middle East Pharmaceutical (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; rising 7.56% or 13.60 to 193.40.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.98% or 1.55 to $79.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.89% or 1.55 to hit $83.46 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.80% or 36.90 to trade at $2,091.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.33% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 103.82.
