The Graph upgrades tooling for Solana devs to accelerate dApp deployment

2

Graph, a decentralized protocol for indexing and accessing data across the blockchain, has launched major upgrades aimed at improving the dApp ecosystem on Solana.

In a press release shared with crypto.news on September 16, it was stated that The Graph (GRT) has upgraded its tools on the Solana (SOL) network to provide new ways for developers to access and benefit from the blockchain.

Thanks to the upgrades, developers now have more options to access Solana’s indexed data. Subflow-powered subschemas allow those working on the smart contract platform to take advantage of pre-built solutions from providers like Messari and Top Ledger.

Leveraging sub-graphs supported by sub-streams

In The Graph ecosystem, subgraphs powered by subflows provide technology that enables faster indexing of decentralized applications. Benefits include: Development environment Where dapp developers can use coding tools remotely and locally.

Developers on Solana can also take advantage of this technology to quickly synchronize projects. Developers can access Solana blockchain data without having to use substreams or the Rust programming language.

Boosting the Solana web3 ecosystem

This means developers can get the most out of the Solana network amid the web3 explosion, noted Nick Hansen, head of growth at The Graph Foundation. He highlighted features like high throughput, low fees, and a growing ecosystem of DeFi projects.

“The massive surge in developer and user activity on Solana has created a huge demand for open, decentralized data that aligns with web3 values. The latest upgrade to the Graph tools and enhanced support should ensure that the Solana community gets even more value from the decentralized data layer of web3.”

In addition to Solana developers, data analysts and the broader web3 community are also likely to find the new tools essential.

Launched in 2018, The Graph has grown to become one of the most important blockchain projects in the web3 space. Developers have deployed subgraph-based decentralized applications on more than 70 blockchains, including Ethereum (ETH), Arbitrum (ARB), and Avalanche (AVAX).
