UK and US refuse to sign global AI declaration, citing national interests

6

The United Kingdom and the United States refused to sign an international declaration of artificial intelligence (AI) at a global summit in Paris, and put them unlike countries such as France, China and India, which pledged a cooperative and moral approach to developing artificial intelligence.

The agreement, which was approved by 60 countries, is obligated to guarantee Amnesty International “transparent”, “safe”, and “safe and confident”, while addressing digital divisions and the environmental impact of Amnesty International. The UK government defended its decision not to sign, saying that it was “unable to agree on all parts of the leadership declaration” and will not only return to the initiatives that are in line with national interests.

The United States is paying the “growth” policies supporting growth on the organization

US Vice President JD VANCE reported that excessive artificial intelligence organization can “kill a manufacturing industry exactly as it starts” and pledges that the Trump administration will give priority to “AI policies supporting growth” on strict guarantees.

“Instead of strangling artificial intelligence with the organization, we must strengthen its development,” Vans said, and urged European leaders to adopt a more optimistic situation. His comments are sharply contradicting with French President Emmanuel Macron, who defended organizational measures, saying: “We need these rules to move forward in artificial intelligence.”

UK position oversees concerns about the credibility of artificial intelligence

The United Kingdom, which was previously global discussions on the integrity of artificial intelligence – hosting the world’s first artificial intelligence safety summit in November 2023 – is now risked by undermining its credibility in this field, according to industry experts.

Andrew Dodfield, President of Amnesty International at the Full Truth verification organization, warned that the refusal to sign the advertisement could weaken the UK position as a leader in moral artificial intelligence.

He said: “By refusing to sign the international work statement of the spontaneous organization today, the United Kingdom government risks its reliability that was obtained as hard -working as a global leader to innovate safe, moral and worthy artificial intelligence.”

However, a spokeswoman for the Dawning Street, a spokeswoman, has reduced a spokeswoman for the governance of artificial intelligence that remains a “beautiful living” and emphasizes the United Kingdom’s close cooperation with France on the policy of artificial intelligence.

Trade and discussions tensions of artificial intelligence list

The summit, which the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Lin, witnessed the future and open -ended Amnesty International’s future, highlighted the increasing tensions. With the United States moving to impose customs tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, which affect both the United Kingdom and the European Union, Britain faces a diplomatic budget – while maintaining relations with the Trump administration while strengthening relations with Europe.

The United Kingdom and the United States rejecting the signing of the declaration of artificial intelligence are more broader differences in politics on the best way to manage rapid expansion of artificial intelligence while reaping its economic benefits.
